On a beautiful sunny-day we went to the beach of Scheveningen with the photo hobby club to shoot some themed images. While walking its boulevard, you pass a large outdoor terrace with fairytale sculptures. These belong to the “Beelden aan Zee museum” and there are twenty-three sculptures, all created by Tom Otterness. They are so cute and photographed a lot. Here’s my take on it.

Nice website and photographies.
I have to salute your effort to make your blog bilingual. It is very rare.
In the other hand, the sculptures of Otterness are unmounted last week when I was passing by.
I hope that it is not for ever removed.
Kind Regards.

Merci,
I guess that the museum took them off for cleaning/maintenance. Also hope to see them back in spring, as I visit Scheveningen often, and alway pass the sculptures.
