 The ZOO in Rotterdam is continuously changing. Whenever I go there (about 3-4 times each year) I can shoot images of new and changed things. The Prairie Dog (1st image), is supposedly the father of some 25 puppies. The zoo-keepers catch-away many of those youngsters, otherwise it becomes too crowded. The Racoon (2nd [...]]]>

 The ZOO in Rotterdam is continuously changing. Whenever I go there (about 3-4 times each year) I can shoot images of new and changed things. The Prairie Dog (1st image), is supposedly the father of some 25 puppies. The zoo-keepers catch-away many of those youngsters, otherwise it becomes too crowded. The Racoon (2nd image) has moved to a new tree-house. The red Ibis (on the 4th image) is one from a larger group which are new to Blijdorp. More images are posted in the gallery.
